Solar Eclipse Event Entertainment - Hoosier Fest

Hoosier Fest Line Up

April 6

Noon-3pm: Craig Thurston – solo

Indiana home grown in Noblesville, Craig Thurston caught his first Grateful Dead show over twenty years ago. Since then he’s been performing solo in over 30 cities a year in Indiana.

I’ve been out at the Food Truck Fridays Event in Noblesville every 2nd and 4th Friday from 11-1:00 at Federal Hill Commons with a vendor booth and listening to Craig has kept the mood light and chill, just what the event needs. I really love how he takes some well-known songs and some more obscure ones across the genres and tastefully transforms them with his own bluesy groove. Thanks for making the days, Craig! Keep it loose!‘  –  Kathy Carrigg 2018

Born and raised in small town Evansville, IN, Dekar is a drummer, producer and singer/songwriter.

Many of our favorite R&B, blues, as well as, soul musicians and artists in the music industry share similar roots. Those roots spring from a seed planted within church walls.

Dekar Justus relates to those artists. He began his musical journey witnessing his mother lead all sides of the music ministry nearly five nights a week. From the age of one he knew the drum throne was the seat for him. On his second birthday, his extremely supportive parents bought him his first drum set.

While his love for music started in the church, he soon realized he had passion for music and performing that stretched far beyond those walls. Influenced by Stevie wonder, Chance the Rapper, James Brown, Drake, Jacob Collier and many more;

Dekar knew he needed to branch out. His musical talents and undeniable fashion sense landed him opportunities to tour. In cities across the US and on cruise-ships on international waters Dekar has performed with a great variety of musical talent.

Dekar is committed to delivering you great music that brings positive vibes, purpose, and love.

Slow Gin is a Psychedelic Blues Rock band hailing from Central Indiana. The band is comprised of talented musicians Ty Hornback on guitar and lead vocals, Brandon Clem on bass, and Taylor Hernly on drums and vocals. These three individuals have dedicated the past decade to honing their musical skills and establishing themselves as accomplished professionals in the industry. While Ty and Brandon also perform in “Taylor Hernly & Dead Moon,” Taylor’s desire to return to his passion for playing drums prompted the formation of Slow Gin as a separate entity. Currently, Slow Gin has crafted a collection of original songs written by Ty Hornback, along with an impressive repertoire of cover songs ranging from iconic bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Pink Floyd, Markus King, and many more. With their passion for good old Rock n Roll driving them forward, Slow Gin is eager to take their music on the road and bring their electrifying performances wherever they are needed.
